What subjects are taught in the curriculum?

The curriculum teaches reading, writing, math, science, social studies, art (elementary only), and careers (middle only).

What are the age-ranges included in the curriculum?

MindWorks Resources curriculum is available for elementary and middle school. The elementary curriculum is designed K-1st  and 2nd-5th. The Middle School curriculum is designed for 6th-8th. Customers spoke and MindWorks listened. Think Tank is the first unit designed in our new elementary format which now includes K-1 (Emerging Readers) and 2-5 (Readers) facilitators guide. This shift allows for optimum flexibility by dividing activities between those which require reading and those which do not. Simply choose the level that best fits the needs of your students.    

How many students do the materials cover?

Each subject serves up to 120 students, including all the materials needed to implement the lessons (excluding basic school supplies such as pencils, markers, and crayons).

How long does a lesson last?

Each individual lesson in the MindWorks curriculum lasts approximately 45 to 60 minutes. Lessons can easily be extended by utilizing the Extension Activities and/or Project Based Learning (PBL) provided for each daily lesson.

What is the release schedule for the 10 Year Anniversary? (2018-2019 academic enrichment)?

The 80s, Africa, and Night at the Museum are available now, and Oceans will be available in March. Myth Buster Kids (as well as the Summer Spectacular bundle) will be available in May 2019.

Do you have STEM?

MindWorks curriculum integrates the components of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) into our daily lessons.

Are you evidence- and brain-based?

MindWorks curriculum is developed by a team of experts specializing in learning styles and brain-based learning. All lessons are designed around the components of brain-based learning, the 21st Century Framework, and best practices in education.
