2008 brought many exciting changes and growth for MindWorks. In addition to adding
new products and authors to the MindWorks family, we have moved into a
new office, enhanced our account management sales team, initiated the
process of becoming an ASHA approved CEU provider, and introduced our
monthly newsletter. In 2009, we expect to accomplish even more. Read on to learn more about where we've been and where we hope to go in the year to come.
Our New Office
In May, 2008 MindWorks began taking possession on our
new office space. In keeping with our mission of being "extraordinary", we
chose a non-traditional approach to an office and renovated a
1930's house in historic Old Town Coppell, Texas.

Located just 5 minutes
north of the gates of DFW airport, our new location is the perfect balance of location, atmosphere, and function for our business. Red peanut shaped workspaces, stainless steel desks, refinished old-wood hardwoods, zebra-striped and colorful shag rugs, black and white checkered tiles, and a retro
style conference table with bright red chairs give our office a feel of "fun sophistication". We have increased on-site warehouse space and shipping facilities. And we've even created an
amazing playroom for our staff with young children, including enormous chalkboards, a drawing easel, play tables, and games (many educational - of course). We
invite you to come by and visit!
Improved Account Management
MindWorks has experienced tremendous organic growth over the past several years, both in number of customers and geography. Since MindWorks is first and foremost a customer-service organization, we want to ensure that each and every one of our clients
gets the time and attention they need and deserve.
To address this need, we've begun building a formal sales organization to help us grow and maintain exceptional client satisfaction. Erica Maxson has joined us to build and
cultivate our customer relationships in the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex. With a background in special education, Erica has first-hand
knowledge of the challenges you face each day, and she is here to provide creative solutions to your needs. Erica is always
available
to help answer product questions, schedule a training session, or work
with you to come up with a completely custom solution to your own
personal needs.
We're also currently in the process of adding sales territories throughout Texas in San Antonio, Austin, Houston, the Big Country and West Texas. We're also planning to add account management and sales functions in other states throughout the south and southeast in the year to come.
Contact us if you or someone you know is interested in joining our exciting organization.
