Literature LINCs I brings literacy to life by combining high quality children’s books with the principles of the Language in the Classroom™ (LINC™) program. Each volume contains 30 fun, hands-on activities which directly correlate with the theme of carefully chosen classic works of children's literature. A brief description of each book and suggestions for definitions, categories, descriptions, rhyming words and comprehension questions accompany each activity. From Silly Sally to The Day Jimmy’s Boa Ate the Wash, Literature LINCs I is sure to encourage early literacy skills and language development in keeping with the LINC™ style.

Language activities include in this book are comprised of crafts, science and edible projects. All edible projects fall within the guidelines for the USDA Foods of Minimal Nutritional Value (FMNV).
