Stacy Benge has more than 10 years of early childhood education experience. She has worked as a preschool classroom teacher, written early childhood curriculums, trained childcare teachers and directors, developed a literacy lab and toy lending library, and assisted two schools in receiving their national accreditations.
Stacy earned her Master's of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Texas. She also holds triple minors in Child Development, Speech Pathology, and Psychology.
Ms. Benge is an experienced speaker and has presented successive years at the Texas Association for the Education for Young Children (AEYC). She also holds the proud distinction of having been selected as the Teacher of the Year by the Tyler, Texas AEYC in 2001 and is a registered trainer with the The Texas Early Care and Education Career Development System (TECECDS) overseen by the Texas Head Start State Collaboration Office (THSSCO).
Stacy is passionate about early childhood education and the opportunities to assist schools and educators enhance their early childhood programs. She provides targeted early childhood training and in-services through her Dallas based company, Early Childhood Consultants.
