Dr. Cynthia Gill

Dr. Cindy Gill, CCC-SLP, is a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, Learning Disability Specialist and Educational Diagnostician. She served as Chief of Speech Pathology at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, Texas for ten years and has also practiced in the public schools, rehabilitation setting, and in her own clinic.

Dr. Gill currently serves as an associate professor at Texas Woman's University, where she directs the Texas Educational Telecommunications Newtwork (TETN) SLP Master's Program. She is recognized throughout Texas as a gifted educator and she has won numerous teaching awards, including the prestigious Mary Mason Lyon Award for Excellence in Teaching, Research and Service. Her publications include research on linguistic unit analysis, narratives and children's language comprehension, the video and text: A first Course in Dysphagia, as well as Stories for Eliciting Speech Samples (SESS).
