Monica Gustafson is a Speech Language Pathologist and author with
more than 30 years of experience working in the Winnipeg, Manitoba
schools and is a featured columnist for Winnipeg Parent Magazine. Additionally, she has written 23 programs for the remediation of speech and language disorders including:
Monica is a graduate of the University of North Dakota and is the current President of the Manitoba Speech and Hearing Association.
She
is a natural storyteller and provides storytelling throughout her
assigned schools, the school division and beyond. Last year she was one
of the featured storytellers at the International Storytelling Festival
for Peace and Justice in Winnipeg. She enjoys presenting to teachers
and fellow clinicians on how to use storytelling effectively in the
classroom to develop language in all students.
