Shipping Methods

MindWorks Resources may use a combination of United States Postal Service (USPS), UPS, FedEx, DHL and other various freight carriers to deliver your items, depending on the nature and quantity of the items purchased. We process shipments Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Shipping Rates

Shipping and handling charges for all orders are $3.50 plus add the following percentage to the order subtotal before taxes or handling.

Continental US: Add 5%
Alaska, Hawaii, and Territories: Add 25%
International: Actual cost, estimate 45% (includes customs). Buyer pays all applicable taxes.
Expedited Shipping / Volume Order: Call for Quote.

Shipping Timeframes

FedEx Ground delivers Tuesday through Saturday. FedEx Express delivers Monday through Friday. UPS and DHL Ground and Express deliver Monday through Friday. USPS delivers Monday through Saturday. Freight carriers will contact the provided telephone number to schedule delivery. Packages with air delivery methods such as 3 Day Air, 2 Day Air or Next Day delivery will be delivered Monday through Friday.

Standard Ground Shipping is not guaranteed to be delivered within a certain timeframe. Ground shipments may take 1 to 2 weeks to arrive plus the processing timeframe as calculated below.

How to estimate the delivery timeframe for your shipment:
  1. Calculate the carrier delivery time specified above.
  2. Add any special product-specific processing time be located on the product page or shopping cart, if available.
  3. If a product-specific processing time is not listed on the product page or shopping cart, include a processing time frame of 3-5 business days. We strive to process shipments the same or next day, however, depending on the item type or location, this may not always be possible.
Note: all processing timeframes are quoted in business days.

Shipping Delays

MindWorks Resources will make every effort to fill all orders placed as quickly as possible, however delays and backorders are possible. We will try to label all known product backorders on the product page. If an unexpected and unpublished delay or a backorder does occur you will receive prompt notification via email. If you do not wish to wait due to the delay or backorder, you may request a cancellation for that item (subject to our cancellation policies), provided that the item is not already being processed or shipped. If we do not hear from you before your items are ready to ship, we will assume you have agreed to the shipment delay and will process your order accordingly.

Acceptable Shipping Addresses

MindWorks Resources can only ship to U.S. P.O. boxes with USPS shipping. Shipping to rural addresses, or addresses in Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. Territories, Canada, Military Army Posts and other International areas may require additional shipping charges beyond those quoted.

Special Offers

From time to time, MindWorksResources.com may offer special shipping discounts for online purchases. These offers may change at any time and are only available for purchases made online at MindWorksResources.com.

Shipping Errors - Refusal of Delivery, Non-Deliverable, or Incorrect Shipping Address

If a package is undeliverable due to no person available to accept and sign for delivery (when applicable), incorrect or inappropriate shipping address, or shipments refused upon delivery, the customer will be responsible for any and all actual shipping and/or re-shipping charges incurred. These charges may be higher than the original shipping charge, as MindWorks Resources offers reduced and free shipping on the initial shipment of many of our items.

MindWorks Resources may temporarily cover such shipping charges as a service to our customers. However, once the package is received back in our warehouse, MindWorks Resources will then issue a credit back to the original payment method for the purchase price less the ACTUAL shipping charges and surcharges to and from your location and applicable cancellation/restocking fees. Or, MindWorks Resources may agree to re-ship the items at the customer's expense, all charges payable before re-shipping. Any actual shipping charges and/or surcharges will apply even if full shipping charges were not initially charged as part of our discounted shipping prices or other promotions.

This policy does not pertain to products that may have been damaged in shipping prior to delivery. The customer shall inspect all deliveries promptly and avoid acceptance of visibly damaged deliveries whenever possible. All refunds are subject to MindWorks Resources return policies.
