We believe the value of our kits lies in the unique, hands-on learning experiences our lessons and activities provide. Additionally, each kit is carefully curated to ensure you have the essential materials you need to successfully complete the lesson activities.

✅ Materials Provided by Mindworks

  • All essential materials required to complete the lesson activities
  • Specialized or unique items that are not typically found in a standard classroom setting
  • Consumables in large quantities if needed for specific activities
  • Games or books necessary for the lesson, thoroughly reviewed for age-appropriateness, with any necessary variations or modifications included
  • Clear instructions and preparation notes, including reminders to preview materials for appropriateness before use

🚫 Materials Not Provided by Mindworks

  • Common classroom supplies such as:
    • White construction paper
    • Copy paper
    • Masking tape
    • White glue
    • Markers, crayons, colored pencils
  • Basic tools or items that are generally accessible to most classrooms or educational settings
  • Additional materials that might enhance the lesson but are not essential for completing the activities

❓ Why Some Items Aren’t Included

Our goal is to keep your costs low and ensure you can easily integrate our lessons into your existing classroom setup. We trust educators to have access to basic supplies and to make adjustments as needed to fit their specific group of students. If a lesson requires a significant quantity of a common material, we will include it in the kit.

👀 Previewing Materials

For any games or books included in your kit, we recommend reviewing them before use to ensure they're appropriate for your group. Our guides include reminders such as:

  • Preview the game cards and remove any that may be inappropriate for your group of students.

  • Preview the book and select pages most appropriate for your group of students.

While our team thoroughly reviews all materials before finalizing the kits, we encourage you to do a final check. You know your students best and can make the most informed decisions about what’s appropriate.

If you have any questions about what is included in a specific kit, please reach out to our team for more details!
